DVD-RW restricted mediainfo

Hi
I was wondering about the DVD-RW Restricted Overwrite format
Is there any "simple" way to find out (using dvd+rw-mediainfo)
if media if has been recently formatted and should be burned with
growisofs -Z or has already the initial session and should be burned with 
growisofs -M option?
