These frowns are not a good sign with growisofs.

http://fy.chalmers.se/~appro/linux/DVD+RW/keys.txt  says :
5  72  03       SESSION FIXATION ERROR - INCOMPLETE TRACK IN SESSION

Whatever that means, your problem looks like the normal non-working
combination of hardware+firmware+media . Usually this is not much
under the influence of growisofs or comparable burn software but
handled entirely within the burner box.

Try different media. If possible try other hardware.
