Which DVD recorder to buy?

Hello,

After my problems with the ASUS DRW-1608P [see thread: CLOSE SESSION
failed] I'm looking for another DVD recorder (internal, IDE/ATAPI),
but this time one which is known to write DVD+R and DVD+RW properly
with growisofs or cdrecord+prodvd.
Could somebody please name some models or point me to a site where
I can find this information?
