Does that mean : "Better tests for validity of dma_dpeed test" promises not
to underestimate the speed of my drive ?
Well, that did not change in a noticeable way. The numbers still vary from
4200 to 4480 kB/s. None of them reaches the real average throughput of the
drive. (My clock is only wrong for 15 seconds per day.)

"Use dma_speed test results only if the number of tracks to write is > 0"
makes me optimistic that at least blanking does not need high DMA speed.

I will see what time brings with a35.

Have a nice day :)
