Can you be more specific about the bugs please? Or does that "contain
bugs" simply refer to that they're not the latest alpha version?

What "security holes" are you talking about?

ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/ seems pretty simple to me.

Well, personally I'm interested in something which works, and couldn't
care less whether it's "official". Compiling stuff is the
responsibility of the distro-maker, that's what I pay for. Obviously I
make exceptions, but being "official" is not one of them.
