When application starts transferring the data, unit doesn't start actual
burning the same moment, but applies some initialization procedure
first. As this procedure is rather slow [at least if compared to the
rate you can transfer data over IDE cable], the data naturally goes to
the internal buffer and when that buffer is full, data flow has to be
suspended till buffer space is available. LBA 320h is basically when
buffer gets full.

As for the message itself. Unfortunately there is no [reliable] way to
figure out when initialization is over or unit just hang and growisofs
has to compromise... The fact that you see "LUN appears to be stuck"
means that initialization procedure applied by your unit [maybe to this
particular media brand] is longer than one observed with other units. I
can increase the timeout in next update to minimize the confusion. Yes,
it's nothing else but confusing, it does *not* actually mean that the
recording was irregular or anything of that sort.

You should observe the message in question, FEATURE 21h being off,
*only* with minimally blanked DVD-RW media. If you *really* can confirm
that you've observed FEATURE 21h being off with virgin or fully blanked
DVD-RW, then it's most likely a firmware bug, something I can't possibly
help with. But I think that you simply lost track of the *exact* way
that particular media was treated... A.
