Package: apt
Version: 0.8.10.3+squeeze1
Severity: normal
This happens whenever I run apt dist-upgrade (to wheezy). I have tried many
times over the last 12 days or so, using various mirrors in my apt sources
list. Other packages download just fine.

okay then, I am marking as done with this mail.
Sorry about not getting a response earlier though – seems to has slipped by.
It is indeed a problem on your end. Usually the IP of the mirror should be
the same for all downloads (as the connection is reused), that it isn't
indicates that the connection times out frequently.
Even if it works now, you might want to change your mirror to one which is
better for you, the mirror list has some suggestions on how to find one:

Best regards
David Kalnischkies
