Which means you need to set Aptitude::Dir = Dir; though,
so this might be a separation step too far. ;)
In theory Dir::state::dpkg::status, Dir::state::apt{,itude} and co would be
better, it's just that i properly get killed for breaking existing applications
if i would change that, so you need to work around my unwillingness to die.
