Bug#304910: apt (0.5.28.1) improvement, searching

Package: apt
Version: 0.5.28.1

Hello,

I am using debian testing (sarge) and I have an improvement suggestion

# apt-get install chatzilla
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
E: Couldn't find package chatzilla

This ideally would suggest a list of packages which contained the term "chatzilla", obviously I knew I wanted the mozilla chatzilla software, but did not know the specific package name on debian. So I had to manually do a search for packages which contained the term "chatzilla" to find the package was called "mozilla-chatzilla" !

A separate apt-cache use is required to actually find the package name, this could easily be combined into apt-get when it cannot find the package.

Kind regards
JG
