I connected my laptop to an internal monitor & ran my xrandr script to diable
the local display & activate only the external. The external display came
up, but it was just a solid color (green or blue iirc). Since I couldn't get
my desktop back, I switched to a VT & rebooted. I looked at my gdm logs &
saw an Xorg segmentation fault (see :0.log.2). Apparently, this had happene
once before (see :0.log.4).
