Package: xfonts-base
Version: 4.1.0-11
Severity: normal

This has actually been since xfonts-base 4.0.2, but it's finally given me
enough of a headache to submit a bug report. Basically, the old 5x7 font was
quite readable when boldfaced, but now it's very difficult to read (as in it's
headache-inducing). Perhaps the 4.0.1 (and earlier) 5x7 font could be used
instead? Or maybe someone just needs to complain loudly to upstream about
their ugly font changes. :)

Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of the older version of 5x7 handy, so I
can't show a comparison between them, but I remember quite clearly that my
squinting started when the font was "upgraded." :)

Don't know whether it got removed previously, but I don't have any 5x7
bold font in Xorg/Etch. Closing then.
