Bug#236373: [xscreensaver] screensaver 'kumppa' locks computer

The problem doesn't happen to me with kumppa, that I noticed, but does
happen with some of the other hacks.

The one that locked my desktop twice in a row was Polytopes (or at least
that was the image on my screen when I found it locked up--since
xscreensaver clears the screen before it starts a hack it was certainly
that one that killed me). That plus the text here about kumppa and the
text in the X Bugzilla bug report about other apps having the same
problem made me nervous.

Rather than spend an hour or two rebooting my system (this is my box at
work, and I have too many things to do at work as it is :)) in an
attempt to figure out which hacks really trigger the problem, I just
disabled them all and set xscreensaver to blank. For some reason it
no longer locks my screen either but that's another problem.

My main concern is that some of my other apps will trigger the bug as
well. So far so good; I'll keep it as-is until/unless I run into
something else that triggers the hang.

Still, it would be nice to not have to worry about this. My main
concern is that the bug has been known and seems fairly easily
reproducible for 10 months now and has had no real action taken, which
doesn't give me warm-fuzzies ...

Thanks for the note!
