As LCD display and LCD/DLP video projectors and getting affordable, I
think that a lot of people are bound to make the same mistake.

Shouldn't this be clearly stated in the doc ?  

Err, do you want a patch against /usr/X11R6/man/man4/radeon.4x.gz ?
(This should be doable with my humble X skills)
