Bug#235740: xfree86-common: Package uninstallable with sh=dash

...and sh=ksh.

While I'm going to fix this for the sake of upgraders from woody, it is
hasty to infer that there is a "bashism" in the script.

It is also possible that there is a bug in ash/dash's parser.
