Bug#224189: tee -a /dev/null causes slowdowns

Package: xprt
Version: 4.2.1-14
Severity: normal

After experiencing slowdowns in applications I noticed "tee -a
/dev/null" running continuously on my machine. It is originated by the
/etc/init.d/xprint init script. Is this normal? Killing tee eliminates
the slowdowns.
