Bug#223801: libxft2: fonts look misaligned and are missing some horizontal lines
Package: libxft2
Version: 2.1.2-5
Severity: normal
For about a month now on my unstable system the fonts have been looking
wierd. I had seen this problem before and it turned out to be a xft
problem. Fonts are getting clipped so that the edges are missing.
certain characters like an 'e' will be missing the horizonal line. The
tops and bottoms of characters are misaligned.
I can get the problem to occur by scrolling up and down in slashdot.
The fonts get drawn properly again after highlighting the text.
This isn't isolated to mozilla. I see it in other programs like abiword.
