Bug#218038: /usr/X11R6/bin/xdm: every upgrade I am asked again if I want xdm or gdm
Package: xdm
Version: 4.2.1-12.1
Severity: normal
File: /usr/X11R6/bin/xdm
each time I do an dist-upgrade, I am asked if I want xdm or gdm as my
display manager. I was hoping my selection (xdm) would be remembered
and believed. Yes, at least it appears at the top of the query list
as default response.
Not only am I asked once, but twice. I presume once by xdm, once by gdm.
Therefore please reassign this bug to whatever greater mechanism that
is causing this.
