I tried nv after the upgrade to Xorg7.0 and had problems with my old gnome-session
(which was unusable in Xorg7.0), I made a new one which worked. After some
configuration i came to change the cursor-theme to whiteglass - which then lead to
a restarting metacity every time i tried to start another app. There were also issues
with the cursor itself, it had black glitches on the left. I tried also redglass and
handheld, all with the same problems. Other themes like Industrial (came with gnome)
have the same problems. The only one which worked was the black core theme.
Now I have nvidia again, and this doesn't suffer from these problems as it looks like.
