When installing, it displays this warning:

symbolic link.  Packages containing files in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults
need to move them to /etc/X11/app-defaults instead; they will not be used
by the X Window System until they are moved.

ERROR: /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb exists and is not a symbolic link.
The xlibs package cannot be installed until this directory is removed.
Aborting installation of xlibs package.

I'm closing this old bug.

Debian packages generally don't stop and prompt people on errors, and
interactive package installation (except via debconf) is something we've
been moving away from for years now.
