and subject line remove addresses of retired DDs from cdvendors@d.o alias
has caused the Debian Bug report #911605,
regarding Fw: Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender ( cdvendors@d.o )
to be marked as done.

This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with.
If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the
Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

According to
https://salsa.debian.org/dsa-team/mirror/email-virtualdomains/blob/master/debian.org/aliases
the cdvendors@d.o alias just forwards to
cdvendors@www-master.debian.org, and www-master.d.o is under the control
of the webmaster team, which deals with stuff through the www.d.o
metapackage.  Therefore I'm filing a bug there on your behalf with this
email.

FTR, those two developers have retired (atterer) or removed as MIA
(spaillard), so that's why their address doesn't resolve anymore.

Hello all

Thanks Holger and Mattia for the report.

I have removed atterer@debian.org from the CDVENDORS entry in www-master.debian.org
I didn't find spaillard@debian.org there, but it was present in the WEBMASTER entry, and since it's a retired address that won't work anymore, I have removed it from there.
FTR, these "aliases" are maintained in /srv/www.debian.org/mail/.mailfilter in www-master.debian.org machine.
Holger, if the issue is still not resolved please reopen this bug and I would investigate further.
