Package: www.debian.org
Severity: important

Hi,

When I search "ibchecknet" in the "Search the content of packages" available at
https://www.debian.org/distrib/packages with the options:
- paths ending with the keyword
- Distribution: stable
- Architecture: any

I get:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You have searched for paths that end with ibchecknet in suite jessie, all
sections, and all architectures. Found 1 results.

File Packages
/usr/sbin/ibchecknet infiniband-diags
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

However, the package infiniband-diags from jessie doesn't provide this file as
can be seen at https://packages.debian.org/jessie/amd64/infiniband-diags/filelist

I have the same problem if I search in unstable and it works fine (this is,
the file is not found) when searching in testing, and experimental

The binary /usr/sbin/ibchecknet is only provided in the infiniband-diags package
available in oldstable.

      Hey,

sorry for the large delay in addressing this. This seems to be an
issue since the change of the Contents files to by-hash symlinks, which
seems to have been done July 2017 because the filelists db files got
last updated back then.

Given that the safeguard in the parsing script was doesn't apply anmore
since the removal of wheezy, removing the symlink check in there was the
sane move: https://deb.li/S6tc

Sorry for any inconvenience this caused, and that it took so long to
get it fixed. :/

 Enjoy,
Rhonda
