Package: www.debian.org
Severity: wishlist
http://www.debian.org/support#irc could use an update now that OFTC's WebChat has been announced: http://www.oftc.net/WebChat/
WebChat provides a way to access our support channels from Debian without installing an IRC client, or from another platform.
By the way, the list of traditional clients could also use an update. As previously discussed, Konversation has more popcon votes than ircii and epic5 together. It could also be mentioned that the popular multiprotocol clients Kopete and Pidgin (GTK+), both of which have popcon install counts greater than any of the clients currently mentioned, support IRC.
