Package: wwww.debian.org Severity: wishlist The instructions at https://www.debian.org/CD/jigdo-cd/#how are simplicity itself but may I suggest an addition which might enhance the use of jigdo. The advice is At the prompt "Debian mirror", enter http://ftp.XY.debian.org/debian/, where XY is the two-letter code for your country (for example, us, de, uk. See the current list of available ftp.XY.debian.org locations.) Could we alter this to At the prompt "Debian mirror", enter either http://httpredir.debian.org or http://ftp.XY.debian.org/debian/, where XY is the two-letter code for your country (for example, us, de, uk. See the current list of available ftp.XY.debian.org locations). The first mirror is recommended for making best use of your bandwidth. At the moment I am downloading DVD-4 and my line is maxed out. Very impressive. Regards, Brian. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.2 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
