Back then this was written, it was true, but nowadays (and for years)
dak is independent of apt-ftparchive, so apt-ftparchive (not) supporting
contents for source packages has nothing to do with packages.debian.org
anymore – "ftp.debian.org" would, but:

The Release file of at least the current releases have a Contents-source
file (for each Component), which looks like it includes the requested
data, so instead of cloning I am just dropping the block.
