How to mirror
The recommended method of mirroring is with the so called ftpsync scriptset, available in two forms:
as a tarball from
http://ftp-master.debian.org/ftpsync.tar.gz
as a git repository:
git clone
https://ftp-master.debian.org/git/archvsync.git
the file
http://ftp-master.debian.org/ftpsync.tar.gz
is actually an
uncompressed
tar file, not a tar.gz file
