The proceeding of ISKE2011 will be published by Springer and all the papers are ISTP and EI indexed, some best papers will published by SCI indexed Journals.

The 2011 International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (ISKE2011) is the sixth in a series of ISKE conferences. ISKE2011 follows the successful ISKE2006 in Shanghai, ISKE2007 in Chengdu, ISKE2008 in Xiamen, China, ISKE2009 in Hasselt, Belgium, ISKE2010 in Hangzhou, China, and will be held on Dec. 15-17, 2011 in Shanghai. Technically co-sponsored by California State University, Southwest Jiaotong University, Belgian Nuclear Research Centre (SCK•CEN), and organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, ISKE 2011 emphasizes current practice, experience and promising new ideas in the broad area of intelligent systems and knowledge engineering. 
ISKE2011 accepts submissions that have not been published or submitted in any form elsewhere. Besides technical/ research papers, submissions reporting on industrial case studies are also welcome.
Accepted papers will be published by Elsevier (to-be-determined) submitted for indexing to EI and ISTP, some selected papers will be published in the well-known international journals (SCI or EI, the list will be given later).

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit full papers for review by August 30, 2011, in PDF-format.
