Sure, but while getting the list of countries from an external source it's probably not a big deal to pipe it through some sort. OTOH I assume wml can do that anyway, it just needs somebody to provide the patch(es), as usual ;) Not sure if it's just my impression, but it seems to me like people fluent in wml are becoming quite scarce. Maybe it's time to consider alternative means that are easier to maintain in the long run, like Joey Hess' proposal to use ikiwiki?
