4) Our entired infrastucture is Debian based since 1999.
We are using Apache2 wirh PHP5, ProFTPd, PostgreSQL, Courier, Fvwm
IceApe/IceWeasel, OpenOffice and a bunch of developer tools. Also
I am packing Debian Packages since over 6 years now.

We run following (dedicated) physical servers:
          12 Router/Firewalls
23 PostgreSQL (smalest 2 GByte and biggest 1,8 TByte)
          18 Webservers
           7 Courier
          25 NFSv4
1200 Embedded Telemetrie Systems (for Solar Power Plants)
    and of course
        ~50 Workstations in bureaus
        160 Workstations in Cybercafes

I have started in March 1999 using Debian 2.1r5 Slink by switching away
from Windows NT 4.0 Server in a One-To-Anoter-Day operation and it just
worked. Cause the enormeous stability we stay now since 10 years with
Debian and continuing.

My latest enterprise TDWave (which is currently in creation in Germany
Baden-Würtemberg and financed by the KfW <http://www.kfw.de/>) will have
over 20000 customers (from Karlsruhe to Freiburg) accessing the Internet
over 100 MBit Residential FiberOptic and "Alavarion BreezeACCESS VL"
Wireless Gateways for which I am designing a whole Infrastructure (DHCP,
PPPoe, Routers, Web- and Mailservers, VOD and more) from scratch based
on Debian Lenny. TDWave will previously start in end of 2009.

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day/Evening
