Bug#498273: please put a rendered HTML version of the Lenny release notes on the web

Package: www.debian.org
Severity: wishlist

Thanks for all your hard work on the site. One request: please put a
rendered HTML version of the Lenny release notes on the web. Even
though Lenny is not released yet, many people upgrade to it, and it
would be useful if they could see a rendered copy instead of just a
bunch of SGML files[1]. Perhaps you could put them online at [2].

(You might worry that someone will mirror them before lenny is
released. Don't worry. IMO that's unlikely, since nobody ever[3]
mirrored the release notes for etch or sarge either. Also, you might
worry that someone will think lenny is already released, since the
release notes are written in the past tense. Don't worry: when they
try to find a downloadable copy of lenny, they will see it is still in
beta.)

Thanks,
Jason

and sarge release notes according to
