What's the proper comma usage in DSAs?

Hi,

DSAs use the comma in the following sentence very inconsistently. What's
correct?

For the stable distribution (etch), this problem has been fixed
For the stable distribution (etch) this problem has been fixed

Using no comma dominates.

$ grep -r "For the .* distribution (.*)," 2007 | wc -l
64
$ grep -r "For the .* distribution (.*) " 2007 | wc -l
264

PS: Should I CC: the security team or debian-l10n-english for such
mails? What's the proper address?
