The sponsor picture and sponsor.html on www.debian.org give a 404. I'm
not sure if this is related to #285675. Here's which ones work right now
on the mirrors:

Australia: broken
Austria: ok

Bulgaria: ok
China: unsure (timed out)
France: ok
Germany: ok
Hong Kong: ok
Indonesia: ?!?!! doesn't look like a mirror
Italy: ok
Japan: ok
Netherlands: ok
Russia: broken (403)

Yes, this is basically the same bug: it's up to the mirror maintainers
to put an image there, if they like.  Therefore, this is really not a
bug in the debian website, and there's nothing we can do about it if the
mirror admin decides to not put a sponsor image there (although I agree
with you that's it's not so nice if the image is broken).

As there is nothing we can about the issue (apart from contacting the
mirror admin, which I already did when trying to resolve #285675), I'm
closing the bug.
