Hello,
I was in Educatice (see
http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2005/11/msg00023.html) a
few weeks ago and met many people from several projects all related to
"free software and education". All projects are based on Debian but they
have trouble integrating their work in Debian. I asked for help in that
area and got several responses. Now I need a mailing list to put all
people together and start working on it.
Name : debian-edu-french@lists.debian.org
Rationale : All projects mentionned above are well & healthy but they
are doing their things in their corner. This list is meant to be a new
central (and relatively neutral) list where :
- they can speak in French together (to avoid double work)
- they can be taught good Debian practices (by several Debianers who
responded to my call for volunteers)
- they can work together with us in integrating their work into Debian
proper
Short description : Discussion between french educational Debian-based
projects
Long description :
Discussions in french between all educational Debian-based projects.
This list should ease the collaboration between the projects themselves
and between Debian and those projects.
