I did read per your link. That helps explain some things which I pondered

NOW I find this out? I did use the netinst method and now I know it could have been done another way. Someone should update the Debian PPC install guide. Well, learning the hard way isn't easy but it is instructive.

Thank you for the quick introduction. I have a slightly better idea of what each do. To learn the specifics is just taking some time with man pages and experimenting
