I have much egregious noise in that file.  It would be good if there
was a campaign to clean it up.  But it is a distributed culture of
sloppy programming over years that has contributed to it.  It would
take a large effort to clean it up.

The bug was merged by the original poster with Bug#617940 and that bug
was marked as fixed.

At this point if the bug is still active it might be more effective to
open a fresh bug on it with all of the current details.
