Re: CPU usage measurement

/proc is a virtual filesystem only used by the kernel for its own archive of system information. It is not a running process or is not treated like one.
Here is a link of resource monitoring commands you may like, http://www.debianhelp.co.uk/resources.htm

Hi, everyone

Is there any method for mesuring CPU usage
without specific applications like top and so on?
Could you please provide more details? It's not very clear to me what
you want.

I want to measure cpu usage from information sources like /proc file system and not from the application program.
I'm not sure that the cpu usage information is in /proc file system.
