Hi Steve, It is my understanding that Raspbian is an unofficial port so I'm afraid you will have to ask the Raspbian developers for this one, unless you can reproduce it with an official Debian kernel (assuming there is one, didn't look into it as I plan to use Raspbian myself as soon as my RPI arrives).
