Hi Andrei
I normally stay with nvidia, but I had a mobo failure and bought online an Gigabyte Mobo
and it wasn't clear what the video device was , ughhh.
Very tempted to fill the spare slot with a nvidia graphics card.
When you say the full output, do you mean from using the ati-driver-installer, as that produces an
unstable driver, or from dkms as it attempts to build the module during boot up.
if the latter, how ?
there doesn't appear to be a dkms build log in /var/log.
There was no output from synaptic when installing the fglrx dkms package.
Let me know what you want and I'll attempt to do it. If the system gets broken again it doesn't matter
as I haven't built all the SDR/weaksignal packages.
