In wheezy I can mount them just fine:

root@debian:~# mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sdb1 /mnt

root@debian:~# mount | grep sdb1
/dev/sdb1 on /mnt type fuseblk (rw,nosuid,nodev,allow_other,blksize=4096)
