I did this. My eth1 is on 192.168.1.1.

And this:
$ cat /etc/dnsmasq.conf
domain-needed
bogus-priv
interface=eth1
dhcp-range=192.168.1.3,192.169.1.100,12h

The router configuration allows me to fix its IP. Is it still necessary?
The router is on 192.168.1.2

I did this too. On LAN and WLAN interface.
