Hi Jeff,

Try
$ ICEWEASEL_DSP="esddsp" iceweasel
This will wrap the firefox-bin executable with esddsp (man esddsp). If 
it works, you might want to consider changing the setting in 
/etc/iceweasel/iceweaselrc.
