By default debian will install grub to the mbr. Once you've booted after
install you can add any other OS you want to boot to
your /boot/grub/menu.lst.
I have at times used multiple boot setups, you need to make sure you edit
the /boot/grub/menu.lst that grub reads at boot time. Once you've installed
debian you will be using debians grub unless you manually run grub from
another install.
