Hi,

Anybody done this successfully?
Details?

On a desktop running a two-seater Sid and kernel 2.6.17-ck1 and suspend2-2.2.7.5-for-2.6.17 applied to that kernel with Hibernate Script 1.93 I can hibernate and resume, provided:

1. I stop apcupsd, gdm, gpm beforehand
2. rmmod all usb modules + evdev beforehand
3. specify to unlaod all modules.

Upon resume I start what I stopped and X will *not* come up. If I then stop and start everything again, it *will*.

hibernated - resumed three times now.

There is no reason for any GUI interface because suspend is very fast, as is resume.

Stay tuned.
