console outputs for root printed also on printer
hi guys,
i realized that from time to time, things that are printed on the screen
(for root) are also printed on the printer.
i'm not sure whether the printed stuff exactly copies the things on the
screen. however, for example i was running aptitude and wanted to
install some things related to texlive. a had to cancel it (ctrl-c) and
i think this triggered the output to printed (not sure, though). also
when compiling module for vmware, i was cancelling it using ctrl-c,
iirc. indeed part of the output appeared on the printer.
does anyone have any idea what is causing this?
i don't recall installing anything related to it and certainly don't
like this feature. how to get rid of this?
