I have used
http://baud123.free.fr/eagle-usb/eagle-usb-2.3/eagle-usb-2.3.3.tar.bz2 which
is the driver from eagle-usb 4-linux. I use Debian Sarge kernel 2.6.8-3-686.
It works great and was installed without any difficulties.
