how about putting 'linux' and 'printer' into a search engine, you may find something like http://www.linuxprinting.org/ which tells you what works with Linux (but not Debian/testing specifically) Personally, I've a Brother HL-5150D which does duplex and wasn't expensive but I do have some problems printing PDFs (the duplexer insists that it has to be A4 paper and I've obviously not got all the CUPS & foomatic perfectly set up to do this for all possible PDF files) Michael
Cheers, I like to think that I am normally pretty good about doing a google search before asking a question but for some reason it just didn't cross my mind this time. I'll put it down to a really nasty migraine that is, shall we say, distracting me.
