Re: fixing broken apt



Yes I felt relieved that it was that simple of a matter. The
mirror_list file was a very large html file. Being new I don't know
what it should be. But that did clear things up. One thing I learned
is to be careful around apt especially when passing "-o", and that if
you are using xdmcp you may want to switch to a ssh or telnet session
while running "apt-get update". I wasn't keeping exact enough track to
understand what created this problem in the first place.
