DHCP suddenly no longer working
Hello,
I've been using DHCP without any problems since I got
my Internet connection at home 2 months ago (yahoo bb
in Tokyo), and suddenly today it's not working.
However, it continues to work on Windows XP (installed
on the same machine), so I am writing this message
from there. :(
Today, when I run "dhclient eth0" (which I always run
manually as I haven't bothered automating it on
startup yet), after a bunch of DHCPDISCOVER attempts,
the following messages appear, which have never come
up before:
No DHCPOFFERS received.
No working leases in persistent database.
Sleeping.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
