graphic ssh connection
Hi community,
I want to log on remote machine with ssh, the doc said that I haev to
use the -X, but it doesn't work like this? Is there a special
configuration of ssh ? In the past with the redhat ( 7.3, 8.0 ...) I use
to disable the display with xhost +, here neither -X nor xhost give the
posibility.
when I connect to remote machine running knoppix (3.7 based on sarge)
it works correctly
but not to standard sarge. this is an example of answer:
~$xhost +
---------------------> local machine machine
access control disabled, clients can connect from any host
~$ssh -X -l user1 172.19.5.46 --------------------->
remote machine running sarge
Password:

user1@000102F1658B:~$ lyx
lyx: cannot connect to X server
user1@000102F1658B:~$
While if I connect to a machine running knoppix 3.7 ( base on sarge ) it
works, even I omit xhost +
thanks for help
best regards
