Re: sata_sis



Sata_sis is not in kernel while booting/installing.
You have to load it explicitly with modprobe.

If you have sis 965L chipset you have problem
installing linux onto it. I have the same prob. Check-

I had filed a bug to kernel.org and the patch from sis
available ..but still not included in current
kerel(upto 2.6.11).
