cant get tomcat to work

am running debian unstable i try to get the tomcat to work for 5 days 
till now.
my jsp file is in the webapps folder and the java is set to the correct 
path now when i try to log to the file i made hossam.jsp it gives the 
following error:


An error occurred while loading http://localhost:8010/hossam.jsp:
Connection to host localhost is broken.


thats the correct port number coz when u use any other port the error is:

An error occurred while loading http://localhost:8008/hossam.jsp:
Could not connect to host localhost (port 8008)
